OUR FIRST PLACEMENT STUDENT, 2005-2006
WHERE IS SHE NOW?

Nikki Davis, 2005 - present
Our first placement student
Now Design Manager

“I absolutely love being part of the Kitchen Architecture family. Over the years, I’ve had amazing opportunities to contribute to how Kitchen Architecture has grown and evolved. We have continuously invested in our staff and design centres, new product development and new markets, and have adapted and pushed boundaries to create something really special.

From designing inspiring spaces to watching our ideas come to life, it’s really incredible to see how far we’ve come.

It’s an honour to work with our brilliant clients, bringing their visions to life alongside a team that’s always innovating and supporting one another.”

NIKKI’S STORY 2005 - PRESENT

Nikki started off her career at Kitchen Architecture as our first-ever design student back in September 2005. Kitchen Architecture was three years old and was rapidly securing its reputation as a leader in designing high-end kitchen living spaces.

Nikki worked closely with our company owners, Rob and Jen – a husband-and-wife team, creating beautiful kitchen living spaces for our early clients, and played a pivotal role in the early success of Kitchen Architecture.

Following graduation in 2007, much to Rob and Jen’s delight, Nikki returned to Kitchen Architecture as a design coordinator supporting the expanding design team in Oxford.

Nikki went off to travel the world in 2008 knowing her job was safe on her return. A year later, Nikki proved invaluable in building relationships in our new London market when she helped launch Kitchen Architecture’s first London design centre in Putney in 2009.

Fast-forward 20 years and Nikki is one of our top performing design managers. She sits on the student recruitment panel and takes a hands-on role mentoring students and design coordinators. Along with our three company directors and heads of departments, Nikki is a member of the Planning Group which determines company strategy.

Most importantly, Nikki continues to be a great brand ambassador and role model who is loved and valued greatly by her colleagues and clients.
