Our Putney showroom occupies a large, light-filled space on Lower Richmond Road. We've been bulthaup specialists for over 24 years, and it shows in the detail: the beauty, the craftsmanship, the engineering that makes bulthaup one of the most desirable kitchens in the world.
Nothing here is for display only. These are working kitchens, and when our supper clubs are on you'll see one of them cooking for a full table.
Descend below street level and the bulthaup experience continues, with the same honest materials and precision engineering in quite different settings.
One room is given over to b2, the furniture that took the kitchen off the wall and put it in the middle of the room. Every island since owes it something.
Tucked beside our main showroom, off Farlow Road, there's a surprise. What was once a garage is now a two storey house, built around a central courtyard, dug out from the ground up.It's a complete Kitchen Architecture home, fitted throughout in our own systemKA range. Not a display, but a house you could feel yourself living in.
A few doors along, in a mews building, there's a second house. It's laid out as a whole home and furnished in our traditional English Teddy Edwards range, with wardrobes, home offices and home bars.
After dark it changes character. The table fills, a chef starts cooking, and dinner runs late as our Supper Club guests enjoy the connection between like-minded people.
Come and join one of our Supper Club and Chef's Table dinners, hosted across all four design dentres. In Putney they happen across the centre, sometimes in the main showroom and sometimes in one of our houses which behaves like a members' club after dark: low light, a chef cooking a few feet from the table, drinks chosen with some thought, and conversation that runs long.
It's a good way to meet people who care about design and about how they live, attracting architects, interior designers, landscapers and local property owners alike.
