It’s not every day your project brief includes housing a special bronze sculpture of Ganesh, but that was the case with this heavenly, harmonious kitchen and home in a luxury London apartment.
We believe a kitchen is more than a functional space. It’s the beating heart of your home, alive with stories, flavours and the warmth of connection. When our friends at Clifton Interiors introduced us to a project they were working on in a sought-after part of north-west London, we felt like the stars aligned.
Our client was working with Clifton Interiors on a full refurbishment of a tenth-floor apartment untouched for over four decades: “A time capsule waiting to be reborn as a luxury London pied-à-terre for our client. The apartment was stripped back to its concrete core, opening the way for a complete reimagining.”
We joined forces to partner with the client in creating a harmonious living space with a unique and timeless design, featuring an island for a connected cooking and living experience.
The kitchen serves as the social heart, and the handpicked materials set the frequency. We opted for Taj Mahal marble for its translucent, cloud-like depth, pairing it with the warmth and texture of pastel smoked oak, cashmere and Umbra laminate.
The glorious bronze sculpture sits on top of one of our cabinets. We took great care in placing it securely and as perfectly as our client imagined. The curved unit in the niche is Zoffany Quarter Harbour Grey with verre églomisé mirror framing the bronze sculpture of Ganesh.
Using fluted timber panels in the same oak finish creates a rhythmic texture, carrying consistency throughout the elements in the open-plan living space.
We also designed the suspended TV/media unit, the bespoke curved unit in the niche, and the open shelving around the study, which formed an open divide between the spaces.
The elements align in harmony, with hues of pastel smoked oak seamlessly bringing it all together.

A reinforced curved unit in Zoffany Quarter Harbour Grey. We engineered this specifically to take the weight of the client’s bronze sculpture, using a verre églomisé mirror to create a dedicated focal point for the living space.
Pastel smoked oak travels throughout the apartment, from the kitchen panels to the open study shelving, creating a consistent, soft texture that pulls the study, dining, and living zones together.
