When our clients envisioned their new kitchen, they knew exactly what they wanted to change. In their former home, a basement bar sat tucked away at the back of the house, disconnected from the kitchen and the life unfolding within it. Given their love of entertaining, the new layout needed to feel as fluid as the conversations they host. Moving beyond the idea of the kitchen as a purely functional space, we created an open, inviting environment using a considered mix of bulthaup alongside our own Teddy Edwards and SystemKA ranges. A palette of marble-effect stone and lime-washed oak runs throughout the open-plan kitchen and living space, creating a balanced, luxurious and welcoming feel. At its heart sits a handcrafted arched bar, adding depth, texture and a quietly confident focal point. The arched framing was handmade by our craftspeople in our workshop, with the same statement stone as seen in the kitchen wrapping the bar’s worktop and back wall. Oak cabinetry and a discreet integrated dishwasher ensure the space works as beautifully as it looks. Back in the kitchen, the island invites easy interaction while cooking, clearing up or entertaining, while a hidden pantry keeps the main space calm, clutter-free and guest-ready.

A sculptural centrepiece, handmade in our workshop, with marble-effect stone wrapping the worktop and back wall. Designed to bring entertainment out of the margins and into the heart of the home.
A calm, pared-back prep space that keeps the main kitchen visually clear while supporting daily life behind the scenes. Integrated storage, appliances and generous worktops allow everything to function effortlessly, without interrupting the flow of the open-plan space.
