Welcome to Kitchen Architecture in Cheshire
In 2017 we bought the farmhouse at The Colony, just outside Wilmslow, and made it our permanent home in Cheshire. We design kitchens and living spaces around the people who'll use them, and twenty-four years have taught us that every one of them starts with a conversation. Come and see us just off Altrincham Road in Wilmslow. There's no need to book, and no one will hurry you. You'll leave with more ideas than you arrived with.
Design is a process of absolute transparency. Our experience is built around you, ensuring every decision is intentional and every detail is flawless. We study life first, so that the precision of engineering and the soul of craftsmanship guide every step of our partnership.
We are designers and consultants, overseeing every aspect of your new space, a skill built on decades of trust.
The ground floor is separated into zones, running from the contemporary handleless designs of our systemKA range through to the traditional English in-frame and shaker kitchens of Teddy Edwards.
Pantries, home bars, coffee stations, wardrobes and home storage are all on this floor, and out in the courtyard there's a covered Röshults outdoor kitchen with a grill and pizza oven.
The whole first floor is given over to bulthaup, with the b3 and b2 furniture. You'll find two quintessentially Kitchen Architecture kitchens here, one with a single island and one with a double, which is the clearest way to see how flow shapes the way a room is used.
bulthaup has been making kitchens since 1949, and the hand-finished detail and engineering are why these kitchens last.
Come and join one of our Supper Club and Chef's Table dinners, hosted across all four design centres. In Cheshire they happen on the first floor, which behaves like a members' club after dark: low light, a chef cooking a few feet from the table, drinks chosen with some thought, and conversation that runs long.
It's a good way to meet people who care about design and about how they live, attracting architects, interior designers, landscapers and local property owners alike.
